About Moi

You know having an 'About Me' page seemed like a great idea right up to the moment I created the page and started typing. I have absolutely no idea what to say about myself, so I'm just going to spew some random bits of information and we'll go from there.

- My name is Shubhi, Shubhi I am (why am I talking like Ben Gunn?)  Its pretty easy to pronounce- rhymes with Scooby and ruby.

- I love big books, and I can't lie.

- I like watching action, new age, or sci-fi movies. Chick-flicks and horror movies just crack me up.

- Daemon Black, Dante Walker, Dimitri Belikov, Ren Rajaram, Patch Cipriano, Will Herondale, Jace Wayland, and Aiden St. Delphi belong to me, so back off and no one gets hurt :)

- I'm a big animal lover. In fact I like to believe I'm a bottle-nose dolphin- I'm sure I could pass as one.

- I don't watch T.V. Well I haven't in a few years. Why? It's because I prefer reading over watching television ^_^

- My leisure time is spent volunteering with the city, reading, writing poetry, cooking/baking, singing (loudly and off key), planning world domination, learning astrology, and convincing my friends not to go through with their well-intentioned but crazy plans.

- If you were to spot me in a crowd- I'd be the short, brown girl with long, curly, and frizzy hair that has its own postal code, making wild hand gestures, talking a mile per minute, and being pretty dramatic in general.

- I enjoy adventure sports. I've gone bungee jumping, rappelling, rock climbing, parasailing, and zip lining. Paragliding, skiing, scuba diving, and sky diving are on my bucket list.

- I couldn't dance to save my (or anyone else's) life- its like I have three left feet. No joke.

- I have no hand-to-eye coordination whatsoever; I could give Bella Swan a run for her money.

- Technology and I aren't the best of friends. We just can't put aside our differences and try to get along.

- Most people find me either entertaining or intimidating- I'm good with both.

- I really don't update my blog as often as I should- which brings us back to the whole love/hate relationship I have going on with technology.

- You can follow my reviews on goodreads- http://www.goodreads.com/user/show/4730754 or you can follow me on Twitter @Shubhzi_Singh. Even better- you can also follow my blog via GFC or email (I promise not to flood your inbox with updates).

So that's pretty much it for the moment. I'll keep adding more random bits of information as time goes on. In the meanwhile, feel free to look around, and even subscribe for posts mostly related to books and occasionally containing random pieces of information that have nothing to do with anything!

Welcome to Page Turner :)
